Why did lavinia did not get upset on seeing the ghost?

Narrator thought that she might become hyper and might have fits but she kept calm when she saw the ghost and she was happy that Helen is a ghost and not the beautiful lady as earlier she felt his husband has affair with woman named helen . so she was satisfied .
