Why did Lencho say the post office employees are bunch of crooks?

The post office employees were very kind and helpful people. Lencho is not justified in calling them crooks because they had collected money and sent to him after reading his letter to God. They had tried to help him out in his time of distress but Lencho misunderstood and called them crooks
