Maddie and Peggy went to Boggins Heights because,

• To see if Wanda was still there or had departed, Maddie and Peggy went to her home in Bogin's Height.
• If they came across her there, they would tell her that she had won the competition, that she was intelligent, and that a hundred clothes were lovely. They would also say sorry to her for making fun of her.
• To make amends for tease Wanda Petronski, Maddie and Peggy decided to visit her home in Bogin's Heights.
• They wished to inform her that she had won the drawing contest, that she was intelligent, and that each of her drawings of a hundred gowns was lovely.
• Wanda's instructor, Miss Mason, was notified by Jan Petronski by letter that Wanda and Jake would no longer be attending classes since they had moved to a large city.
