Maddie believed that peggy could do nothing wrong because she was her best friend and did not see the bad side of peggy . Also she thought that it was no wrong in teasing wanda because she herself created this trouble by answering their question in a way in which everyone doubted. Everyone knew that Wanda could not have 1000 dresses because she was poor and this made them laugh and tease her everyday.
