factors that made it the most powerful Kingdom were:
Strategic location: Magadh was strategically located, its earlier capital Rajgriha was surrounded by five Hills and its later capital pataliputra was also statically situated at the Confluence of the Ganga, the Gandak and the sone river
Fertile land: as Magadha has three rivers, it has fertile lands which provided continuous water supply and cheap water transport
Military might: Magadh has the huge army in India at that time, during the Reign of Chandragupta Maurya Magadh Army consists of 600000 foot soldiers ,30,000 cavalry and 9000 elephants and also 8,000 chariots
Rulers: Magadh has witnessed so many great dynasties like mauryan dynasty ,Gupta dynasty, Nanda dynasty and also they were so many famous rulers such as Chandragupta Maurya ,Ashoka, Bimbisara, Ajatsatru etc.
