it is because all the people cannot able to buy
khadi cloth as it was expensive ,whereas the british cloth was cheap its i nota good quality .the
people who couldnt buy the khadi cloth were poor peasants,workers,and
peole belonging low backward class nd the dream was failed

as khadi was a handmade cloth hence it was expensive compared to british factory made cloth hence people were unable to buy khadi cloth due to its expensiveness and hence gandhi's dream failed
