Mahatma Gandhi thought that if they would learn the English they will forget their old culture and will try to learn the new culture of British as they forgot their old culture which they have been following and also the dressing style and for employment they will consider Britishers and will always be working under Britishers never they can come out from it

Mathma gandhi, A great supporter of sanskrit education believed that english education had enslaved Indians as English educated India acted as a link between rulers and local people.... Even by learning English Indians forgot their traditions and developed an inferiority complex as they found it difficult to speak english
