Ques : Why did margie hated school ?
Ans : Margie hated school because it was not fun . She had been doing badly in the Geography test that her mechanical teacher has been given when her mother and sent for an county Inspector. She hoped that the Inspector would take away the mechanical teacher. She is disappointed when the county Inspector manages to assemble all the parts of the mechanical teacher.
The part she hated most was inserting the homework and the test papers in the slot on the mechanical teacher. She didn't like the fact that she had to write answer in the Punch code.
She thought that old kind of school, as she imagines all the kids, from the entire neighbourhood coming together laughing in shouting in school yard.
She imagined that they would sit together in the class and go home together at the end of the day Thevar learn the same things and could help one another with the homework and could talk about it also the teacher were people all these aspects made her to believe that old kind of schools must have been fun.

✔This question is from the chapter by Isaac Asimov which summarizes the conversation between two kids Margie and Tommy discussing and comparing the two kinds of school. The schools of the olden times (I context with the story) and their schools (future era).
✔Margie hated school because it was really a boring idea to answer and study as she does not have any classmates and therefore, there is no interaction between the students. Doing homework without anybody's help and writing answers in a punch code was also draining for her. A mechanical teacher used to teach her everyday at a fixed time. She hated inserting the homework and test papers in the slot of the mechanical teacher.
✔She thought that old kind of school must have been fun as she imagined all the kids coming from the entire neighbourhood laughing and shouting in the school yard. Moreover, she thought that the students would sit together in the classrooms and would go home together at the end of the day. Also, teachers were people (humans). The students would learn the same things and could help one another with the homework and can also discuss about it.
✔According to me, schools today are much fun as listening to teachers is always more interesting than reading the entire lesson on a mechanical computer. Also, if any student faces any problem with the subject or in homework, he/she can discuss it with a (human) teacher. It is almost impossible to discuss your problems with a mechanical teacher.
