The merchants moves towards the country side because they needed to advertise their things in people to got sell at a high demand . And also they can't be at watery surface for a long time.

for supply money to peasants and artisans pursuding them to produce for an international market , with the expansion of world trade and colonies in different parts of the world and demand of food has increased, since production in towns and cities was controlled by powerful guilds, merchants begin employing peasant and artisans from villages .these artisans were not controlled by guilds
