The worried thoughts werre continuously running in the mind of Daedalus about Minos. He was worried that Minos can never find the path to escape the labyrinth. Minos was angry with Daedalus for killing his stepson Minotaur.
Daedalus left everything behind with Ariadne. Minos was so angry with Daedalus that he punished him and his son. Daedalus was left to suffer in the labyrinth which was highly secured.
