Britain is the only country where the first industrial revolution occurred.it is due to the following reasons :-
1)Britain has a modest type of climate
2)it has a large network of railways,roadways and waterways.
3)abundant water sources.
4)higher availability of coal and iron mines.
due to this,Britain is also known as the 'workshop of the world'
