Why did mr.bramble wants to give up boxing?what difficuties woul he face after taking this decision.

mr bramble wants to quit boxing because of his son and he will face a lot of money problems after this since he wants to provide a better future to his son

because of his son...his son was a very intelligent boy in the school and had been receiving many prizes from study activities...so as he was a professional boxer(famous) he didn't want his son to know him as he may change his ambition into boxing being intelligent..........the difficulties was that..*how he would earn for the family,for his son's education.
