ANSWER:- Mrs. pumphrey sent wine to enrich Tricki's blood. later he started to send brandy and eggs for him. Actually, Tricky didn't need these things Mr. herriot had a good breakfast with eggs. he had good luncj with wine and a grand dinner with brandy. So, Mr herriot want to keep tricky with him as permanent guest.
