Mr Selfridge denounced the writer as he noted that Mr. Gordon Self ridge was one of those people who would never waste time.

  • In J.B.'s On Doing Nothing,  there is the theme of peace of mind, laziness, envy, desire, and the reader realizes very early in the essay that Priestly can explore the theme of peace of mind.
  • He had a habit of not wasting time because he was a man who was a clear example of a person working for profit. That was the only true motive that led him to hate wasting time.
  • Mr Selfridge is described as the kind of people who are missing out on crucial moments in life because they are profit-driven. Such idleness was not accepted by the author.
