Then after the house of the clergyman was looted he had produced ready cash the very next day.

Another weird moment was when the lifeless chair in the empty room of the scientist had attacked Mr and Mrs. Halls, forcing them out of the room and locking the door after pushing them out. And after all this Griffin had magically appeared from the empty room.
