After the tiger hunting , Packletide lost her peace of mind and an amount of six hundred and eighty thousands pounds to buy the weekend cottage for Loiusa Mebbin . This huge amount was an addition to the money she had paid to the villagers and to Lousia for assisting her to haunt the tiger. Having leant a bitter lesson from this, Mrs. Packletide stopped indulging in hunting .
