Answer: Mrs. Pumphrey was in a state of shock as she was very close to tricki also Tricki always used to be Mrs.Pumphrey so she got used to him and when she got to know that he was going to go away from her she nearly fainted. Mrs.Pumphrey and the servants over-reacted an packed away all his belongs like his different cowls for supper, luch and dinner. His toys clothes and what not.
