why did Muhammad Bin Tughlaq shift his capital from Delhi to Daulatabad

He did so because Delhi was very far from deccan . He actually wanted to have a tight control on deccan, so he decided to do like that and also....Dautalatabad was in the centre of the country...

Other reason is...

He wanted to save himself and his kingdom from mongol invasions...so daulatabad was considered to be the capital...

because daulatabad was centrally located and was equidistant from Delhi and other places.

And the Delhi was within the reach of mongols, daulatabad appeared to be a safe distance from the Mongols attack in the future....so Mohammed bin tughlaq shift his capital from Delhi to Daulatabad.
