No,Babur didn't tell them.It was written in their holy book "Quran".Only Babur help in making more and more people of Muslims in India and make them learn to follow Islam.Muslim follow Islam only because of their holy book.

not at all. babur was too a follower of islam religion, n we can say that he was not following his religion. as consuming wine or getting addicted in islam he used to drink so he was not a good muslim n he was a kind of cruel person.
