The teacher of Kalam did this task because the teacher got very jealous when he noticed a Muslim student sitting closely with the Hindu student. It is because he asked him to go as well as sit at the final bench.

As there was minimum religious tolerance during that time people used to think that their religion is not secure around a person of other religion which is so not true
