And the Movement generally slowed down in towns because,
According to the Gandhiji's concept Indians must boycott the foreign products and government jobs.
But if the people will not do the job then how would they be able to feed and take care of their family members and they had to join in jobs again.
Due to this, the people in towns could not continue this movement for a long period of time and it slowed down simultaneously.
