why did our constitution makers adopt some ideas from the other countries

True that the Constitution has borrowed things from other Constitution of many countries but the intention behind doing that was not merely copying something.Indian Constitution was framed in the first half of the 20th century and by then many other successful democratic countries had their own Constitution, so the makers of our Constitution decided to include whatever was fair and right but which also suited the Indian ethos and culture.

Each and every point that was borrowed was modified and interpreted in a way which suited our country and which best served our interests.
