As we know that the main aim of the Pastoralists is the get good pasture for their livelihood and to earn their living. They migrate in search of pasture and good weather condition to survive. In Jammu and Kashmir they spend their winters in the lower forests where dry scrubs act as a pasture for their livestock. In summers they move towards the mountains in search of pasture for their livestock.
