The people of Central Asia responded differently to the Russian revolution. They were all part of the Russian Empire under the Tsar. It was a simple matter of the Bolshevik government in Moscow taking over these Central Asian parts of the Russian Empire. The people of Central Asia were not even given a chance to respond. Their territories were just taken over by the Bolsheviks with the help of local agents and incorporated into the Soviet Union.
