In ancient times, all the important facilities for a person to live properly were not available at one place so people of ancient times move from one place to another in search of food, water, shelter, food for their animals, money etc. Most of the people preferred to live near river valleys or water resources because it provided proper amount of water for the agriculture of grains. When the grains were ready to sold, people moved to those places were there was a scarcity of grains so that they could sell their grains at high prices.
