hey becoz it is tough martial art some people don't do this becoz they think that ot hurts them.
It is also good for our health also l.

People are not interested in silambam because people in cities and towns are not aware of the old day martial arts and if they are aware also there are very less classes being taken and it is less offensive when we are perfect with the arts there are many martial arts related to silambam like syloth ,adimurai etc but no one is aware of them
