Answer:

In olden days there were many ways to travel!

by olden days i assume you are talking about the medieval period.

There were many ways to travel then:

Road travel: people mostly walked during the medieval times but there were other ways too like a horse in plains, mules in hilly regions , yaks in the himalayas , camels in deserts , etc

These animals were attached with carts to carry goods, or many people at one time !

Water travel: Boats , ships and rafts were common modes of transport then………. evidences show that people traveled the world mostly through water (oceans)!

The Ship used by Ferdinand Megellan() to circumnavigate the earth:

Air travel: though there are drawings of a flying machine in Leonardo da vinci’s works , the first flying machine ( )was a hot air balloon (to carry humans).

The hot air balloon was first used in china in 220–280 AD but it was unmanned and mostly used to deliver stuff! the hot air balloon was used to carry humans not before the late 18th century in france!

Airplane was invented in 1903 by the wright brothers (orliver wright and wilbur wright)

ut airplanes were operational for public not before 1908!
