Answer:

Jyotirao Phule born in 1827 had studied in school established by Christian missionaries. On growing up he formed his own views upon caste prejudices in the society. He argued to the Brahmins that they wee the true upholders the Aryans who have came from the north and conquered the southern land by defeating the indigenous inhabitants of the region. The defeated population was next regarded as the low caste people

In 1873 ,Phule wrote a book called 'Gulamgiri' meaning slavery . some ten years ago the American civil war was fought and Phule dedicated his book to the Americans who fought for the freedom of the slaves. He dedicated to create a link between the low caste people of India and the black slaves of America. He was critical of the national movement because he felt hat e mostly the upper caste leaders made the major suppot in thr national struggle against the British hence ,the low caste people have to fight on their own throught organising , campaigns, rallies ,editing magazines ,newspapers, leaflets, pamphlets atc
