why did phule dedicate his book gulamgiri to the American movement to free salves?

\underline{\bf{\huge{Answer}}}

In 17th-18th Century in America Slavery Was practice in Mass Level.The Slaves were especially bought from Africa termed as 'Black Slaves'.Those Black Slaves were uneducated so, Europeans (in America) bought them in Factories etc.Black Slaves work hard but get cheap wages as well as they were discrimated by Whites .But with some national movement in USA slavery was abolished in 1865.

Meanwhile ,In India just like 'Black Slaves' the 'low' people treated by high society.They face discrimination by higher castes and work as slaves having no rights.In Gulaamgiri Phule hOpe that just like in America Discrimination and slaver, will also abolished in India.

 In 1873, Phule wrote a book named Gulamgiri, meaning slavery. Some ten years before this, the American Civil War had been fought, leading to the end of slavery in America. Phule dedicated his book to all those Americans who had fought to free slaves, thus establishing a link between the conditions of the lower caste in India and the black slaves in America. As this example shows, Phule extended his criticism of the caste system to argue against all forms of inequality. He was concerned about the plight of upper-caste women, the miseries of the labourer, and the humiliation of the low castes.
