why did plasmolysis occur in the cells when we kept in concentrated solution?

The concentration of water outside is less as compared to inside the cell... so osmosis occurs and water is drawn out of the cell.. making it plasmolysed.
Hope it helped u : )

Plasmolysis:
When a cell placed in a concentrated solution then OSMOSIS occurs and
We know that in osmosis water flows from its higher concentration to its lower concentration.
SINCE THE CONCENTRATION of water outside the cell is LOW comparitively TO the inside.
AND ALL OF THE ABOVE RESULTS TO THE CONTRACTION OF PROTOPLASM
THANKS.
