Jessica changed her appearance and disguised as a boy because she wanted to elope with Lorenzo her love, yes she was successful in her plan to elope with Lorenzo and take all the money and Jewellery of Shylock because at that time change in caste wasn't allowed whereas
Portia and Nerissa were disguised as clerk and lawyer as they wanted to free Antonio from the clutches of wicked Jew Shylock , as Bassanio (Portia 's husband) and Antonio were best friends and as the lawyer Dr Ballerio was a relative of Portia, they requested him to help them who was going to look after the case they were also successful
Note - As women were not allowed in parties and courts, Nerissa, Jessica and Portia disguised as men.
