The "early man lived in groups" in order to protect themselves from animals, share food and other resources such as tools, clothing and look after the young ones. It was easier to hunt in groups and hunt a large animal. Also, the ease of doing work in a group is more as the work gets divided. This helped our ancestors or the early man meet to the challenges of everyday life.
