Answer:

Ramlal had 4 daughters out of which the eldest two, Radha and Mangala had already been married off by the time the primary school started. Only Chmpa and Bholi were left to be married. Ramlal considered his other daughters to be beautiful and intelligent who could easily get a husband. However, he thought Bholi as a backward child who might have needed a dowry to marry. So, probably he thought that as nobody would be ready to marry her, she could be sent to school. Sending Champa to school might have led to objections by her in-laws.

Furthermore, his wife considered Bholi a burden and wanted to leave it to the teachers to think about her.

Hope this helps you...

The answer has been stated below.

Explanation:

Ramlal decided to send only Bholi and not his other daughters when the tehsildar asked him to send his daughters to the newly opened primary school to set an example before the villagers. Ramlal and his wife feared sending their daughters to school because no person would opt to marry their educated girls. They planned to send Bholi to school because there were very minimal chances of getting her married.
