Why did Shah Waliullah translated the Quran into Persian? Requirements for question:

Shah Waliullah believed that many of the problems the Muslims faced were due to their ignorance about Islam and the Holy Quran. ... In order to spread the teachings of Islam he translated the Holy Quran into Persian the main language of educated Muslims at that time in the Sub- Continent.
