Well, people waiting at a pharmacy are quite often sick or in pain. They've just spent ages waiting for a doctor's appointment and now they have to wait again. They don't know why getting a prescription filled takes as long as it does, so they get cranky. (Really, we are going as fast as we can!) They don't see anyone else waiting, so they don't understand why it's taking so long; so they get angry.
