Maratha Invasion of Goa (1683) or Sambhaji's Invasion of Goa refers to the Maratha invasion of Portuguese controlled Goa and the Konkan region. The Portuguese viceroy Francisco de Távora attacked the Maratha controlled Ponda Fort in late 1683.
