This Slavic Nationalist struggle in the 19th Century because the Slavic Nations existed as separate states and kingdoms. Thesewere easily prone to conquer by other powers like Russia,Britain etc. In a bid to unite all the small slavic nations,the slavic nationstruggle took place.
