why did strong nuclear force evolve

The strong attractive force which binds together the protons and neutrons in A nucleus is called strong nuclear force. This force cannot be electrostatic force because positively charged protons strongly repel each other at such small separation of the order of 10^-15 m .Also the gravitational attraction between two protons being machli kar, cannot overcome this electrostatic repulsion points on you attractive force must be acting between the nucleons. This strong nuclear force is strongest of the of fundamental forces, about hundred times stronger than electromagnetic force.
