Teddy is a typical villager trained as a clock repairer. Mr. Henfrey was of a curious nature so when he heard about the stranger he went to meet him. He got offended by stranger's attitude. He messed up with him. He's a good mechanic but gregarious by nature. He is given to imaginative theorising as he revs up a story about an aunt being swindled by a stranger in order to catch Hall's attention. He likes to justify his actions and his stray thoughts by logic.
