Why did Taro run in the direction of the stream?

Firstly the Taro was too much thirsty and even he was too much amazed to see that there was a stream in the forest also.

Taro heard the sound of rushing stream. He could  not remember seeing  or hearing a rushing stream  in the part of  the forest. Moreover  he was tired and thirsty so he ran in direction of the sound
