why did temperature is different when we go further from equator

You might know that there is Many Imaginary lines passing through our earth and Equator is considered as most Important!!  The sun light , Directly false on the equator and theres a hot and hmid climate with Dense rainfall and Sunny day,   All the monsoons are begines in this area  Thank you  Jay hind

The hottest temperatures on Earth are found near the equator. This is because the sun shines directly on it for more hours during the year than anywhere else. As you move furtheraway from the equator towards the poles, less sun is received during the year and the temperature become colder.
