actually if you want to know I'll tell you what lex to the birth of Congress. There was a British man called Allan Octavian Hume or A.O. Hume. He asked the british ruler that India must have a political party with the Indian leaders in it. So, in 1885 the Indian National Congress was formed. In short form we say it INC
