Because British people thought that the people are using forest resource very much and this would destroy the forest by cutting the strong timber wood used for various purpose so to control these they invited one person Dietrich Brands he became the first inspector general of India. He taught people scientific forestey and many of the educated people or economist thought that this is not the correct way.
