the Indian Textiles dominated in the international market of Indian Textiles for very famous for the red cotton and Silk production .there was abundance of raw materials such as cotton Silk jute and other sizes available in India.so in case to get a proper import from the other countries and as a demand for the Indian Textiles was so it was necessary for the British to communicate with India in case of transports that is export and import.the imported goods from India and sold them at a high rate in other countries while the machinist products from other countries were brought in India to sell them at cheaper rates.thus due to availability of raw materials and due to the demand for Indian Textiles the British wanted to communicate and transport with India
