because tipu sultan is from Mysore which is the area from where britishers came. tipu sultan gave them a tough competition

Tipu sultan was a great emperor and he don’t accept British in India and his own kingdom,he gave them a very tough competition by creating hindrance in there path ,so britishers were extremely angry on him
