in 1919 the British passed the Rowlatt Act it allowed the government to arrest political activities without trial curb the place and arrest any person in imprison then without a warrant. The people carried out in agitation again this act on 6 April 1919 Gandhiji launch and anti Rowlatt Satyagraha this act prarthana sabhas were organised in many parts of country to mobilise people.
