why did the British introduce some laws related to forests ? how did it destroy the rights of the tribals​

British saw forests as a rich source of resources , so they introduced some laws which banned some of the activities of tribal. ... Tribals because of these laws could not perform their habitual activities such as collecting fuel wood, fruits etc.
