2️⃣By 1890 , most of the tribal lands were under the control of the British.
3️⃣The Bhil tribal community however launched a strong revolt /resistance against the colonial policies , to which the colonial government had to acede.
4️⃣Thus , under the British , these tribal areas were governed in the name of British crown but were with local self governing arrangement.
