the Britisher force indian farmer to grow indigo because indigo planting become more commercial y and profitable because of the demand of blue dye in europe

British forced the indians to grow indigo as it has a higher price in Europe ,and a comparatively less price in India so they forced the Indian farmers to grow it so they could sell it in Europe with a higher price and gain money.
