Why did the displine to stay while the guru decided it was not safe

The disciple decided to stay in the Kingdom of Fools because the cost of everything was single duddu. And all that he wanted was good and very cheap food. According to guru, it was not a good idea to stay there as they all were fools and the situation will not be the same for long.
